Runbot Score
One number from 0 to 100 that sums up a backtest, so strategies can be compared at a glance.
What it measures
The score adds points for monthly performance, the length of the test, trading frequency, maximum drawdown, win rate, risk/reward, return against drawdown, profit factor, time in position and the number of trades. A high return with a deep drawdown scores lower than a steadier result.
Up/Down markets use a win-rate scale suited to their fixed payouts.
Where you see it
- On every strategy card in the library, and at the top of the strategy page.
- In optimization results, where Best Score is the variant with the highest one.
- As a Top X% chip when a strategy ranks in the upper half of the strategies built in your app.
