Terms
| Term | Meaning |

| APR | Annualized, compounded return of a backtest or a bot. |
| Backtest | A replay of a strategy on historical data. Past results do not guarantee future performance. |
| Composition | A group of strategies mixed into one backtest in the Multi-Backtester Tool. |
| Custom indicator | An indicator or trading rule described in a prompt and built into the engine by the AI. It can be sold as an NFT. |
| Contract length | On Up/Down and pari-mutuel markets, how long each contract runs, for example 5 minutes or 20 seconds. |
| Drawdown | A fall from a peak of the equity curve. |
| Entry rule | The rule that turns active signals into a trade. |
| Exit | A rule that closes a trade: stop loss, take profit, trailing stop, time exit… |
| Paper trading | A bot that trades live prices without real funds. |
| Pari-mutuel contest | A short Up/Down contest on glgl.fun, run as an AMM pool. |
| Runbot Score | A 0-100 summary of a backtest. |
| Signal | A named output of an indicator condition: long, short, stop, cancel or your own. |
| Variant | A version of a strategy found by optimization, which you can compare and apply. |
